Exterior Hotel Renovation
Houston, TX
Marriott
Exterior renovation of the Marriott in Houston, Texas, focused on enhancing durability, weather resistance, and visual cohesion across the building façade. The project included removal of existing PTAC louvers and sleeves, framing and waterproofing the openings, and installation of new EIFS to seamlessly integrate with the current brick façade. A new EIFS section was added between two guestroom elevations, secured with both adhesive and mechanical fasteners to withstand high wind conditions. Additional work included waterproofing all new EIFS, painting remaining elevations to match the updated color scheme, installation of v-joints to align with existing brick soldier courses, and caulking of all expansion and material-to-material joints for a clean, durable finish.
